le Moulin de Pommarède

Le Moulin de Pommarède is located in the South of Bordeaux near to La Brède, the town of Montesquieu.

At only 15 minutes from the center of Bordeaux, and close to Sauternes, you can visit the Graves wines region, and go to Medoc and St Emilion for wine tours.

The property is very calm, facing 15 hectares of fields.

We are at 40 minutes from Arcachon and the sea side.

Gourmets and nature lovers will be delighted of their stay.

The three rooms are independent and have individual bath and comodities.

You are welcomed all year long, but do not forget to book during holiday periods.

Riding is at only 2 kms from the house, you have a tennis court at also 2 kms, and canoe-kayak at 20 kms.

If you do not wish to go too far to swim you my also enjoy the Lac d'Hostens. A very nicely accomodated lake with children games, swiming, pedalos, and biking is also possible all around the lake which is very big.

If you like good cooking from our region, you will have the choice between oisters on the Bassin d'arcachon, Entrecote à la Bordelaise, Foie Gras de Canard, Magret de Canard and many other specialities from the South West.
